We welcomed Joel Fearon to our school. Joel is a Bronze medallist from the Sochi Olympics. His medal was won for Team Bobsleigh. He currently participates in track events. During an assembly, he answered the children’s questions and spoke about life as an athelete.
After the assembly the children invited him outside and they had some "races". The children were very pleased to meet him and enjoyed the chance to meet someone they may have seen compete on tv. Photos of the visit will be available on the school website.
